Huhtamaki North America

The North American segment is home to 17 production units in the United States and Mexico with more than 3,400 employees. This segment serves local markets with Chinet® disposable tableware, packaging for consumer goods and foodservice packaging. North American revenue is in excess of $1 billion. Corporate offices are located in De Soto, KS near Kansas City.

The foundation of the North American segment was built with successful acquisitions of Sealright, Keyes Fibre Company and Plastics Resource in the 1990s. Since then, we have grown these businesses and added the recent acquisitions of Paris Packaging, Ample Industries, and Winterfield LLC. The North American segment is a critical piece of Huhtamaki’s position as a global leader in the food packaging industry.
